imageSynth2 is the new version of the imageSynth1, but works much faster. imageSynth2 can be used by you to create the tiled textures or high resolution images from those small pictures. This software can work in conjunction with other photo editing software’s like Adobe Photoshop or you can use it as a standalone software.
The imageSynth 2 comes with a host of additional features added to the first part. It is ten times faster than the previous version. It supports dual core processors and has improved memory management for taking care of the larger pictures. The imageSynth2 can accept multiple seed images and can work with other images apart from the usually hard images of rocks etc.
The software exports new tiled images of the required resolution. You can create new high resolution images using different parts of an image. Use the pre-filtering options to smoothen the image source. You can use the automatic synthesize too to convert an old image to new one.
This is an interesting tool to have as it is not too big for the pocket and provides enough tools for editing. It is overall a good package for an average editor. |
